Simple Steam Dumpling Recipe

Some Nutritional Facts:  This is another "cover recipe" where you can put lots of nutritious vegetables in together with beautifully shaped food. Ingredients

12g Chives chopped

2 tbsp sesame seed oil

8g chives chopped

1 Australian carrot grated

3 big shiitake mushroom chopped (if you get this dried you soak it with warm water)

1/2 turnip grated

1 chicken breast minced

10g corn flour

1/4 tsp five spice powder

2 tbsp hoisin sauce

15g of shelled prawns chopped (can omit with children has an allergy with shell food)

1 tbsp soy sauce

30 gow gee wrappers

 

Method

1. mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.  Let the mixture set.

2. Roll level tablespoons of the mixture into balls.

3. Wrap the balls with the gow gee wrappers.

4. Steam for 10 minutes.
