Soy Milk and Chestnut Soup Recipe

Some Nutritional Facts:  Another nut that is not only delicious but also healthy.  It is very high in phosphorus and iron.  Apart from that ,  Chestnut also is a wonderful vitamin B supplement.

 

Ingredients

225g chestnut nuts washed

8 pitted dried red dates or pitted dried honey dates. (soak it)

3 tbsp molasses

4 cups of soy milk unsweetened

 

 

 

 

Method

1. Boil the chestnut for about 10 minutes before baking it in the oven for about half an hour at 100C. 
2. Wait for the nuts to cool down first then blend it into paste form,  use about 1 and half cups of soy milk to lubricate the nuts

3.  Bring 2 cups of water to boil and add the dates into the boiling water.  Add the paste and the rest of the milk.

4.  Add the molasses for taste
