Chicken and Vegetable Soup Recipe

Some Nutritional Facts:  Vegetables are often packed with enzymes, vitamins and minerals that are superb for the wellbeing of the child.  Very important also to note that this is an excellent introduction to children who are picky with vegetables.  You could actually blend the vegetables together and serve it as a thick soup

 

 

Ingredients

1 quarter chicken

3 small potatoes

1 carrot

1 large onion

1 small portion of broccoli

salt to taste

 

Method

1. Put the chicken into boiling pot and let it simmer for 2 hours on slow fire. If you have a double boiler or soup maker,  you can leave it in for about 2 to 3 hours.  The rest of the ingredients take about half an hour to cook.  Chop them up to bite sizes and put them into the soup.  Bring out the cooked chicken and chop it put to small bite sizes
