Black Sesame and Cashew Nut Soup Recipe

Some Nutritional Facts:  Cashew nuts are not only delicious but also very high in protein.  Cashew has the lowest fat among all other nuts and is also a wonderful natural source of iron.

 

Ingredients

150g cashew nuts washed

1 tbsp black sesame

3 tbsp molasses

4 cups of water

 

 

 

 

Method

1. Bake the cashew nuts for 45 minutes at 100C.  Increase the temperature to 150C for another 10 to 15 minutes until nuts are golden brown. 
2. Wait for the nuts to cool down first then blend it into paste form,  use about 1 and half cups of water to lubricate the nuts

3. Lightly fry the black sesame until fragrant (about 5 minutes) on low heat

4. Add the rest of the water and cashew paste to the black sesame and bring it to boil.

5.  Add the molasses to taste
