My Children Cute? Especially when they are asleep!
We just took our children for a short vacation. Actually, I always think that after I had my first child, all vacations are exclusively catered for them. Which I think its OK since it brings me joy to see them happy and contented. The thing with vacation is this. They are really exposed to all sorts of people, mainly other vacationers who by the way thinks they are cute. Also, we are not as strict with them, especially hard when you’re in the theme park. It is also not very easy to be stern with them while Mickey and Minnie Mouse is prancing around you. So much for theme parks.
Then comes chapter 2. After about 4 hours of rides and mostly waiting, we have in our hands 3 very tired and cranky children who refused to take a rest. So many rides so little time. That’s when the cuteness level begins to reduce tremendously.
4 hours and more rides later (yup we pulled through), the cuteness have all but disappeared. This is when you wished you’d stayed at home, or wondered why you did not leave them with their grandparents (who by the way are dying to pamper them) and ride the gondolas at Venice.
Soon after the night shows, by now they still believe they can take that last ride, you quickly drag them (monster like now) back to the hotel, clean them up and put them in bed to replenish their cuteness. Yes, they are cutest with they eyes shut…
