For mother who stay with children full day, they collect these points pretty fast but nevertheless, they do it also. For working mothers like me, once in a while we will take time out from our schedule to be with the children. My first impression is that I would be having a great time with the family but often than not, the first day is always an adjustment day. However, the following days are really more pleasant.
Here are some reasons why.
1. Children miss their parents. So, as parents get some out. They want attention. All of it. not partial, not even 90%. its 110%
2. Never say what you don’t mean. if you take time to do something else, make sure you make it clear.
3. Children need to feel that they are prioritized. At least some of it.
4. Earn their trust by keeping to your promises.
Most important of all, know that they are a blessing not a curse. Playing with Kids is really not easy. They quarrel, fight, fuss, bother. Once you get into the club. You’ll find that they Negotiate(not quarrel), disagree and commit(not fight), trying to make sure you still love and care for them (not fuss) and just want to be with you (not bother).
