Kids Doing Chores - Superwoman?

Kids Doing Chores - Superwoman? Am I one? or do I train my daughters to be one?
As I listen to Karyn White’s depressive rendition of superwoman got to think about the type of woman we train our girls to be. I also noticed that although the lyrics are extremely sad, somehow I am drawn to it and is one of my favourites R&B songs. Here’s the deal
How realistic is that song? It dawned onto me that we have very high expectations of a woman and often blame ourselves when our marriage is not working out but one thing’s for sure. Our grandmothers and great grandmothers did get it right. The feminist would kill me but if I had a son, I would wish and hope that he marries a girl who can
1. Keep House
2. Cook dinner well
3. Clean
4. Smart
5. Kind
6. Great Mother
7. Hardworking
8. Miss Universe (runner up at least)
The list goes on. What? expecting too much? Superwoman right?
Well, I am not taking any chances, I think part and parcel of training a real superwoman requires then to be familiar with doing household chores at the very list. I think that keeping house is as important as doing well in physics and chemistry.
