How to discipline your child - Keeping Toys

I was thinking, disciplining your child might not be the nicest thing to do. So I am thinking of making it a series of “how to discipine your child. Let’s being with episode 1.- Keeping toys

More than often, I get a real kick buying new toys for my children but some kids have problem in keeping their toys in good condition. They just need to be thought how to do it. In the case of my children, my eldest needs a little encouragement to keep the toys after playing, my youngest will do it automatically, now my second kid, needs a lot of encouragement. The funny thing is, she’s good at everything else you ask her to do except keep her toys and put her clothes in the laundry basket? Why? God only knows
So, here are some of the ways I try to get her to keep her toys.

1.Rewarding her with “stars” whenever she does it without being told has helped encouraged her to be sensitive to what daddy and mummy likes
2. Never compare her to her sibling.
3. Help her with it initially
4. Show her the value of keeping her toys well, (toys are not broken)
5. Your example, if you are messy, you can hardly complain about your kids.
