My Kids Watching TV - Very Tempting Electronic Babysitter

My kids watching TV always concerns me much. Notice how they are able to sit still for extended period of time in front of the TV without interrupting you. Nothing works better than TV
I once saw a mother with her five year old daughter. This little girl had a very intricated hairdo. Her hair had been braided in a very difficult style where one would imagine must have required the girl to sit still for at least half an hour. So, I asked her, how do you do it? How do you make her sit down? TV
I asked another mother of 3. How she keeps her house clean, cook dinner and have 3 little kids around? TV

We don’t have a TV at home. No, it not because we belong to some weird religion. We just never got round to buying one. Besides, we never have time for TV anyway. The children will watch some cartoons on the laptop sometimes, but not very often. In contrast, ours is definitely not the neatest house on the block, we cook very simple dishes, and both parents are always exhausted.

The children never miss TV. What you never have, you never miss. But we do deal with them bugging us more often, fighting more often but also have meaningful conversations among themselves very often. We sometimes question if we’re doing the right thing.
