Puppy Crying at Night, is it having a nightmare or am I having one?
Remember, a few days ago, I mentioned that we were having a pet. A puppy in particular? Well, reality has sinked in. Poor puppy was crying all night. What was worse, was that we’re suffering even more less sleep over a puppy? My own kids don’t even sleep through yet.
That very morning, I experienced the power of prayer from a six year old girl when we told her we’re giving up on the puppy. She prayed like she never did and somehow managed to convince us to keep the dog for another day (night). We also talked about how we could stop the puppy from crying at night.
1. Put enough food and drinks for it to make sure that it is not hungry
2. Would you believe, tying it up really helped? Apparently for our case, the puppy’s mother was a neighbour. By going to the gate, it could actually sense its mother and siblings. Bad idea
3. Make sure the puppy has done its “business” before tying him up for the night.
So much for pets. We’re getting fish next time round!
