How do you cure a sore throat? Naturally of course. I don’t mean just dousing yourself with endless lozanges.
It never dawn on to me how uncomfortable and painful a sore throat can be until I had to one and had to take care of my children for a couple of hours single handedly. Taking care of the kids was never a problem and I always thought that I was not too bad at it. But when you take “your throat” out of the equation, it seems we’re playing a new ball game alltogether. I never thought myself to be the yelping screaming type until recently, when I suffered from this sore throat.
Somehow, tearing your hair out, jumping up and down, showing your stern face doesn’t really mean much to the children - pretty much like a silent movie.
Anyway, here are some tips on how to take care of your sore throat naturally
1. Gargle Warm Salt water - I find that if you buy French Celtic Sea Salt or Himalayan Rock Salt, it really gives you a calming and to certain extent a pain relieve. It works
2. Take a spoonful of Manuka Honey. - This also relieves pain
3. Starfruit Juice also works well for me.
4. I also like the the use of activated charcoal. Just gargle with it.
I have a rather low threshold of pain, if I say this works, it must have some value.
