Today, our eldest daughter is going to try our her kindergarten graduation gown. This is a real joie de vivre. This is what having kids is all about. Us, parents we live for these moments
Early in the morning, our not even six year old girl excitingly wakes up, runs downstairs to have her breakfast, and readies herself for the big day. She fusses baby sister to hurry up so that they are not late. Everything is spot on. I did not scream this morning. In fact, she was the one doing the ordering around. She has been waiting for this day for the last 2 weeks when she was told she was going to have a photography session.
Sometimes, we tend to overlook something so simple. Yet, this is such a significant milestone in her little world. I am so happy for her.
