Kids Pretty Dresses is a real bad habit of mine. I just cannot resist buying them.
Children’s Pretty Dresses is one of my indulgent. I simply cannot resist buying them for my little girls no matter how full the cupboard is. I alway console myself that I have 3 daugthers and therefore its ok to buy more dresses. Do you realize that kid’s dresses are just as expensive, if not more expensive.
The funny thing is, I am certain, some of these clothes are not very comfortable at all yet we pay premium for it. Anyway, back to my story.
During one of my shopping trips, I spotted at the corner of my eye, a shop where they had kids pretty dresses on sail. Jackpot! I thought. So, after going through a pile of dresses, I came out with the most beautiful (at least I thought at that time) dresses that matched each of my daugthers. The color, design everything… that is until I got home…
You see, when you have more than 1 child, rule number ONE is the KISS rule. Keep It Simple Stupid. Just buy them identical ones. Don’t even buy a different color. Of course they would fight about who got the nicest one. My cross to bear. What was I thinking? Wasting my time picking those dresses, I should have just picked a white dress in 3 different sizes. Then again, I should have just walked pass that pesky shop. Sometimes, what you never have you never miss.
Here’s my justification though. Sometimes, its good for siblings to fight. If you stop fighting, you stop communicating to. Its through fighting that they learn to tolerate and love each other. Its our job to facilitate that not to avoid it.
Would I shop for kids dresses again? No!
But they look so cute…
