I always associate baby playtime with being short and sweet.
At all times, you should play gently with baby. Making them laugh too hard can sometimes over excite them. What happens to over excited babies? We all should know that answer by now. They will eventually morph into Nocturnal Babies. Babies who will not sleep well and constantly wake up and in short make life a living misery.
Here are some tips on how to play with babies.
1. Finger Puppets are a big hit with babies generally. Tell a story with finger puppets.
2. DO NOT TICKLE TOO MUCH - enough said on that
3. A ball can be quite interesting for babies too. Try to pass them the ball, move the ball around so that their eyes can focus and follow the ball
4. Baby Massages are a big hit with babies and excellent for bonding.
5. Soft toys and dolls can also be quite interesting. As usual, tell a story. Try to talk to the baby as much as possible. This will encourage them to speak at a younger age.
