Lately there has been a lot of promotion on the benefits of breastfeeding. The public has slowly come back to realize that it is better to take what is God made than man made. During my mother’s time, breastfeeding was discouraged, and it required even more perseverance to breastfeed during that time than now.
The most commonly known benefit is that the breast milk is exactly what the baby needs. It’s contents changes according to the child’s age, and everything of the breast milk is ‘just right’ for the baby. To me, it is just common sense that human baby should have human mother’s milk, and baby cows (calf) should have mother cow’s milk. Obviously God made the mother cow’s milk suitable for cows and human mother’s milk suitable for human baby. Why would people think that human baby should take mother cow’s milk? It just doesn’t make sense. And of course they found that it is not very suitable for human baby to take pure mother cow’s milk, and so they modify it! Why do humans want to make things so complicated?And in the end harm themselves!
