Breastfeeding mother - lack freedom?

A lot of working mothers feel that being a breastfeeding mother means lack of freedom, since they either have to have their baby with them most of the time or have to worry about storing enough breast milk for the baby. They might not be able to do any business travels, which in turn might affect their careers.

It is some what true that if you are a working breastfeeding mom, you tend to have an additional consideration while you work, which is your baby. However, if you think about it, why should we expect that we should have no inconvenience at all when we have a baby? If we are not the ones to provide and care for the baby, who are? To me, breastfeeding is the least that I can give to my baby. Especially when I already work all day, I feel that I could at least bond with my baby while I breastfeed her at night, to ‘make up’ for the chance of mother baby bonding that I don’t have during the day. I feel that breastfeeding is the best way to spend time with my baby, especially when babies can’t really communicate or do a lot of activities with us yet.
