Let me answer the common question by new mothers: when to start potty training? I normally start toilet training as early as possible. For my first born, we started when she was born, by getting her to pee in her diaper.
But we didn’t do it consistently, just did it whenever we could manage. However, when she could start to sit at about 6 months, we started to toilet train her seriously. This is because, by then, she could sit in her potty properly. We bought a simple round small potty that can fit her bum nicely. We had fancy potties that were given by relatives, but we never use them. Simple and cheap potties are good enough.
