Development (Child) of a 3 month old

Between the ages of 3 to 4 months,  your baby will probably do the following.

Begin to hold a toy in her hand, get up by his arms, start to make baby noises like gurgling when happy. He will be able to roll from side to side.  More advance babies may begin to roll over.  He will feel comforted when talked to, or when some music is played.  Follow an object with his eyes and move his head, hold his head erect.  Some at familiar faces.

Experienced parents will tell you that, these are easy times,  prelude to baby beginning to cruise and walk.  She will still sleep many hours during the day and night.  Later on,  between 8 months to 2 years.  Your baby will be more demanding in many ways.  Let's just say it will become worse before it becomes better from a demand of time perspective.  However,  do not miss it,  it is an extremely rewarding job.  To be a parent.
